Many new product developers believe a final inspection before shipping is sufficient

Conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process can be expensive. By performing a final inspection before shipping, companies can save money on inspection costs. The cost of checking in with suppliers is far less than the cost of rejected products.
MYTH 2 : Factories already have quality teams so I do not need to invest in my supply chain team
Conducting multiple inspections throughout the manufacturing process requires the factory to receive visitors. Remember that the factory quality teams represent the factory. Note that large companies have supply chain teams even though they work with the best factories.
MYTH 3: visiting the factory is not important
It may not be feasible for you to conduct inspections at every stage of production, especially if manufacturing facilities are located in different regions or countries.
